Tom Rice’s relationship with GH Traders, LLC (formerly Goldenberg, Hehmeyer & Co.) began in 1999. An independent trader and customer, Tom joined GH Traders’ management team as Managing Director of Proprietary Trading in the spring of 2005. Prior to GH Traders, LLC, Tom traded at Transmarket as a customer specializing in the 30-year U.S. Treasury Bond market and the S&P mini. Tom left the trading floor in 2001 to pursue electronic trading. Tom’s long history in the industry began in 1985 when he worked as a runner on the floor at the CBOT. From 1986 to 1992, Tom clerked for a variety of companies and individuals before establishing himself as an independent trader. Tom has been a member of the Chicago Board of Trade since 1992.

In addition to Tom’s experience as a self-managed and self-financed trader, he has pursued both professional and personal development through a variety of alternative learning programs that include coaching from Mimi Peak of Peak Experiences Coaching, Anthony Robbins, Keith Cunningham's Keys To The Vault, and the Landmark Education program. Tom’s focus on psychology, self-discipline, and his extensive knowledge in technical analysis has fueled his continued success in trading and enables him to lead other traders in reaching their potential.

In addition to Tom's trading profession, he is a successful entrepreneur as evidenced in his founding of Tri Truth Coaching, and as part owner of WhisperWave.com, along with a number of other companies. He has a life-long love of sports and as a teen was awarded numerous scholarships for football, baseball, and wrestling. Active in his community, Tom is a member of the board of directors for Prevent Child Abuse in northwest Indiana. He also serves as a speaker at the Ulrich Children’s House, the largest holding center in Chicago for the Department of Children and Family Services. Tom currently resides in Chicago.
